Fins Swim School
Fins Swim School are now running lessons at Dee Banks school in Chester. Originally established in the North Wales town of Prestatyn in 2007, we are pleased to be bringing our teaching skills and reputation to Chester.
Our lessons at Chester are for age 4 upwards and are delivered in a fun, inclusive, safe, learning environment, with an emphasis on water safety and swimming skills for life. We have small classes of up to 6 children and we teach in the water. We also have a teaching assistant to help with classes where required, for extra support.
Teaching staff at Fins come from all walks of life, including ex-Fins swimmers and even parents of our swimmers! All staff are level 2 qualified with in-house training from our own STA swimming tutor. A number of staff have also undertaken additional certifications such as Autism Swim and disability swimming.
Our 30 minute classes run on Wednesdays 4.45pm – 7.15pm and Thursdays 3.45pm – 7.15pm.
